Bravo! The discovery of this hotel treasure was a much needed magical moment!! I found it by chance as I quickly scoured and then booked a hotel to escape my Brooklyn apartment /bunker after the 'stay at home order' was lifted in the Great Pandemic of 2020. Located in Murray Hill, one of my favorite areas of New York City – Murray Hill East Suites is a NYC landmark in it's uniqueness and its charm. It's a rare gem from the past when hospitality was a refined art form. Not much has changed (in a good way!) and is beautifully preserved in the lobby, rooms, facilities, decor– but remarkably also via the impeccable service of the lovely close-knit staff welcoming you to their family and to their home from the moment you arrive. I loved it as it came at such a fortunate time seeing Manhattan for the first time in way too long. Thank you!
I dislike that I had to finally leave the property. I suspected that the staff had secretly discussed how to politely escort me from the premises. But fortune smiled down upon us all; and I left the hotel as required – promising to return one day in the near future. <3

Everything!!
We had the misfortunate of staying in an apartment around the corner which was a disaster and we booked into Murray Hill for the last 3 nights of our holiday. We stayed in a junior suite which was HUGE! It was very comfortable, impeccably clean and like home from home. We wished we had found this place before booking the other apartment. the price was excellent considering the amount of space we had and convenience to Grand Central and other amenities.
The front desk staff and door men were all very friendly, helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in such a great position, near Grand Central Terminal & other attractions. We were a family of 4 and I booked a 2 bedroom suite, we were given a suite on the Penthouse floor. We were bowled over with the amount of space we had. The bedrooms were spacious together with 2 bathrooms was amazing. There was a separate lounge with a dining room and to top it off we had an outside balcony! Yes this place could do with a bit of updating but the danger there is that the price would then rocket. All staff Were very friendly and helpful & I would definetley return to these suites if we return to New York.

I liked the great location, spacious rooms , the terrace, the kindness of the staff (not all of them)the cleaning, and cleaning staff . I want to congratulate you on your front desk employee JEAN (she deserves a special word of thanks and she also deserves to be congratulated on the part of you) and the door men (specially on Robert)
I disliked:
1- One of your employees of the front desk.She was completely unfriendly and did not properly respond to our request for attention when we detect much gas smell in the apartment, which was a danger for us and for the whole hotel.
2- The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, it would be very good to replace with a new one.

Loved it all .... the position (super!), The room (never in any other hotel we found so much space and comfort!) To the front office staff (friendly, cheerful, always helpful .... worry even their own postage and mail your postcards!) services (cleaning in the room - we even washed the dishes-we also had the opportunity to wash clothes washers and dryers with the worktop and was convenient for us that we have retained enough in this hotel!)We also thank all the staff so helpful that made ??us feel in our house! Greetings from Italy e. .. hope to return soon to this hotel!

The rooms in the suites are very big, both the bedroom and the living room, and the kitchen and well. The beds are incredibly big allowing a comfortable and relaxing rest after a long day visiting NYC. Everything is very clean, adn is cleaned every day.
It os very closo to some places that ara must in the visit to BYC (Empire State, Times Square, 5th AV, etc) but being located in a very (in NYC standards)quiet area.
Is perfect for visitng NYC with kids.
I strongly recommend it.
Perhaps somebody in the hotel should be thinking in an upgrade of the installations at mid term, before they could collapse (ie: airconditioning system)
